Respondents PRAYER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, Forbearing the respondents and their subordinates from demanding or collecting entry tax on the petitioner company's imported new Adi Q3 3.0 TDI Automatic Motor Car bearing Chassis No.WAUZMC8UDR061923 and Engine No. CLL053527 to be registered and assign new registration mark by the 3rd and 4th respondents. O R D E R

The learned Government counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents made a submission that on 13.08.2021, the balance arrears of Entry Tax due i.e. a sum of Rs.1,97,818/- was paid by the petitioner vide Cheque No.111319 dated 13.08.2021.

2. In view of the fact that the petitioner has paid the Entry Tax as demanded, no further adjudication needs to be undertaken. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of. No Costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
