ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by C.T.SELVAM, J.] Petitioner, who is the father of the detenu herein, viz., M.Muthukumaran, aged 4 years, has filed this petition seeking production of his minor son.

2. We have heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for respondents.

3. The respondent police have produced the detenue viz., M.Muthukumaran, who is accompanied by his mother/wife of the petitioner. Petitioner's wife informs that owing to illtreatment meted out by the petitioner, she had left the matrimonial home. over a period of four years and she is presently staying in Chennai, where she has the support of her sister.
