O R D E R

The prayer sought for herein is for a Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to issue patta in the name of the petitioner to the entire extent of 1.35 Acres in S.No.70/2D of Kommampattu Village situated at 1/4

Uthangarai Taluk, Krishnagiri District, on the basis of the petitioner's Online Application No.2022/0105/31/418896 dated 02.12.2022.

2. The petitioner has given application to get patta for the land at Survey No.70/2D situated at Kommampattu Village, Uthangarai Taluk, Krishnagiri District through online on 02.12.2022 and in order to consider the same and to pass orders, he has moved the present writ petition.

3. Heard Mr.I.Siddiq, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs.Akila Rajendran, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

4. The learned Government Advocate for the respondents would submit that, the application submitted by the petitioner would be considered and decided on merits by the 2nd respondent within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.

5. Considering the said submission made by the learned Government Advocate for the respondents and having regard to the 2/4

innocuous nature of the prayer sought for in this writ petition, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition with the following orders: There shall be a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider the application submitted by the petitioner through online on 02.12.2022 and decide the same on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
