This petition has been filed seeking to quash the First Information Report in Crime No.359/2022 dated 08.07.2022 on the file of the first respondent.

2. Heard Mr.S.Sasidaran, learned counsel for petitioners and Mr.A.Damodaran, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for first respondent.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that there is a case in counter in Crime No.358 of 2022 and investigation in both the cases is almost completed.

4. In view of the above, the relief as sought for by the petitioners cannot be granted. There shall be a direction to the first respondent to complete the investigation and either file a final report or closure report, as the case may be, within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
