ORDER
The petitioner who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 16.08.2025, for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 341, 302, 109 and 149 of IPC in S.C.No.211 of 2024 pending on the file of II Additional District and Sessions Court, Arakkonam, Ranipet District, seeks bail.

2. The allegation against the petitioner is that the petitioner joined hands with other accused involved in for the offence under Section 302 IPC and subsequently, was arrested and released on bail and he appeared before the Sessions Court regularly. During the pendency of the trial, the petitioner jumped bail on 27.01.2025 and NBW was executed on 16.08.2025. Hence, the petitioner seeks bail.
3.The learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is in remanded to judicial custody nearly five months and so far no progress in the trial and now, he is ready to co-operate with the trial process and since his wife is on family way and due to medical care, the petitioner was not able to appear before the Sessions Court and he prayed to grant bail to the petitioner.
4.Mr.A.Gopinath, learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent police reiterated the prosecution case and submitted that totally six accused had involved in this case and the petitioner is not co-operating for trial. He further submitted that charges have been framed by the trial Court and now, the matter is posted for trial and the petitioner is having six previous cases and if bail is granted to the petitioner, 2/4
he would tamper the witnesses. Therefore, he opposed to grant bail to the petitioner.
5.Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record. 6.Considering the fact that the petitioner had already granted bail and subsequently jumped bail and the fact that charges have been framed after securing the accused and if the bail is granted to the petitioner, he would tamper the witnesses, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. 7.Accordingly, both the Criminal Original Petition shall stands dismissed.
