(Order of the Court was made by M.SATHYANARAYANAN, J.) The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that subsequent to the filing of this Writ Petition, Section 6 notice under the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act, 1905 has been issued and challenging the same, the petitioner has filed W.P.No.7969 of 2017 and a Division Bench of this Court, vide order dated 06.04.2017, has disposed of the said writ petition granting liberty to the petitioner to file an appeal under Section 10 of the said Act and accordingly, the petitioner has also filed the appeal before the Appellate Authority and would further add that in the light of the said development, nothing survives for adjudication in this Writ Petition.

2. Heard Mr.A.N.Thambidurai, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents and also perused the counter affidavit and other materials.

3. In the light of the subsequent developments, nothing survives for adjudication in this Writ Petition. Hence, this Writ Petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
