O R D E R

Apprehending arrest in connection with Crime No.274 of 2024 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 8(c), 20(b)(ii)(B) of NDPS Act, the present petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking anticipatory bail.

2. Pleading innocence on the part of the petitioner, false implication in the case, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks indulgence of this Court. He would further submit that the petitioner is ready to abide by any stringent condition that may be imposed by this court.

3. The case of the prosecution, as put forth by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent police, opposing for grant of bail, is that the accused were found in possession of normal ganjga weighing 1.50 kgs and 34 grams of OG ganja, Apple mobile phone, four wheeler, cash of Rs.45,000/- and a two wheeler. He would submit that the petitioner is a habitual offender, against whom, there are five previous cases, of which, three are registered under NDPS Act.

4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (crl.Side) and perused the materials available on records.

5. Taking into consideration the bad antecedents and that the petitioner has got three previous cases under NDPS Act, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

6. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. 12.02.2025 Anu To The Inspector of Police, G-2, Periamet Police Station
