ASHA, J, The above application is filed to condone the delay of 37 days in preferring the application to set aside the order passed in Claim No.FT/705/130/1999 Claims II dated 04.06.2019 in C.P.No.130 of 1999. 2.It appears that on 31.12.2019 pending this application, the Office of the Official Liquidator has adjudicated the claim of the applicant and admitted it to a sum of Rs.70,000/-. The Official Liquidator has also produced the records pertaining to the above claim. It appears that though the original receipt does not contain the seal of the Company in Liquidation, however, it is the Standard Receipt that was being issued by the Company in Liquidation.
In view of the above fact, this Company Application is ordered and Order in Claim No.FT/705/130/1999 Claims II dated 04.06.2019 is set aside with a direction to the Official Liquidator to disburse the said sum of Rs.70,000/- to the claimant as expeditiously as possible after following the due procedure.
