The petitioners, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the second respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Section 498A, 504, 506 r/w 149 of IPC and Sections 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act in Crime No.48 of 2022, on the file of the third respondent Police, seek anticipatory bail.
2. The case of the prosecution is that there was a matrimonial dispute between the A1 and the de-facto complainant. Hence the case.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that a false complaint has been given against the petitioners and they have nothing to do with the said allegations. He further submitted that inter State Anticipatory bail may be granted to the petitioners to enable him to move the appropriate jurisdictional Court for necessary relief.
4. Taking into consideration, the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to grant interstate interim anticipatory bail to https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 1/2

vkr the petitioners for a period of four weeks from today to enable them to move the concerned Court.

Accordingly, interim interstate anticipatory bail is granted to the petitioners for a period of four weeks, on condition that the petitioners shall surrender before the learned V Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai within a period of fifteen days from the date on which the order copy made ready and the petitioners shall execute a separate bond a for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand only) each with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the said learned Magistrate. Further, within four weeks from the date of execution of bail bond, the petitioners shall approach the competent Court and seek for appropriate relief.
