O R D E R
The prayer sought for herein is for a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation dated 17.03.2011.
2. The petitioner was appointed as Secondary Grade Teacher and subsequently, promoted as B.T.Assistant. In this regard, the grievance of the petitioner is that, from the date of appointment i.e., on 13.08.1997 itself, the petitioner would be eligible to be considered as B.T.Assistant. Therefore, conferring such status, her service and pay benefits can also be extended to the petitioner. In this regard, the petitioner had given a representation on 17.03.2011 to the first respondent and the said representation since has not been considered, she filed the present Writ Petition with the aforesaid prayer.
3. When the case is called, there is no representation for the petitioner. However, Mr.S.Sureshkumar, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, would submit that, since the representation was given in the year 2011, definitely that could have been considered and decided on merits. If at all, it is not decided, the same would be decided on merits within a time frame.
