O R D E R

This Civil Revision Petition has been filed to set aside the order of the Rent Control Appellate Authority, dated 27.01.2020, made in R.C.A.No.242 of 2017 on the file of the VII Court of Small Causes, Chennai, reversing the order of the Rent Controller, dated 04.01.2017, in R.C.O.P.No.1344 of 2014 on the file of the XIII Court of Small Causes, Chennai.

2.When the Civil Revision Petition was taken up for consideration in the last hearing, this Court put a suggestion to the parties for settlement, and the learned counsel appearing on either side agreed to the same, and the matter was directed to be listed today for reporting settlement. 3.Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the petitioner has filed an affidavit, dated 06.02.2021, wherein, the petitioner/tenant undertakes to vacate the premises and hand over the vacant possession to the owner on or before 10.06.2021, and he is ready to pay the agreed rent till he is in possession of the premises, upto 10.06.2021.

4.In the light of the submissions made by the petitioner by way of an affidavit, the petitioner/tenant is directed to vacate the premises and hand over the vacant possession to the owner on or before 10.06.2021 by 10.30 a.m., failing which, appropriate action shall be taken by the respondent/owner in accordance with law.
