ORDER

This writ petition seeks for a mandamus to dispose of the representation dated 18.11.2024 that was given by the petitioner.

2. The subject matter of dispute relates to the release of black matpe.

3. The petitioner claims that he is the owner of the goods whereas this is being disputed by the private respondents herein.

4. Mr.Richardson Wilson states that an enquiry was conducted by the respondents 1 and 2 on 28.11.2024 and that they are yet to pass orders on the same.

5. Mr.R.P.Pragadish on the other hand states that enquiry has been conducted and it has been referred to the Special Investigation and Intelligence Branch. He further states that the customs department will take a call on the matter within a period of two weeks from today. The said statement is

recorded.

6. The respondent shall pass orders on the enquiry proceedings within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This writ petition is disposed of accordingly with the above direction. No costs.
