This petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.276 of 2008, on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Cheyyar, thereby taken cognizance for the offences under Sections 294(b), 452, 355 and 506(ii) of IPC.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the case in C.C.No.276 of 2008 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Cheyyar was ended in acquittal by an order dated 08.07.2015. Therefore, the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous.

3. Recording the said submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this petition is dismissed as infructuous.
