ORDER

This Court, while disposing of the writ petition in Crl.O.P. No.1939 of 2016, by order dated 29.01.2016, directed the respondent-police to execute the Non-Bailable Warrant issued by the II Additional Family Court, Chennai https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ against Mr.S.Govinda Kumar, S/o.G.Shivashanmuga, in

M.C.No.487 of 2012 as early as possible.

2.The present contempt petition has been filed by the petitioner alleging non-compliance of the order dated 29.01.2016 passed by this Court.

3.The respondent-police has filed a status report, stating that pursuant to the issuance of Non-Bailable Warrant issued by the learned II Additional Judge, Family Court, Chennai, in M.C.No.487/2012, the accused S.Govindakumar was arrested on 12.06.2018 and he was produced before the learned II Additional Judge, Family Court, Chennai on 13.06.2018 and that he was remanded to Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai on the same day ie., on 13.06.2018.

4.In view of the above statement made by the respondent, it is seen that the order of this Court has been complied with. Hence, this Contempt petition is closed.
