The petition to suspend the sentence in S.C.No.386 of 2018 is filed mainly on the ground that the deposition of the witnesses are contradictory and there is no material available on record to sustain the conviction imposed by the trial Court.

2. We have gone through the deposition of PW1 and PW2, eye witnesses along with PW12 Doctor witness. Since the scene of occurrence has been narrated cogently by the eye witnesses, PW1 and PW2, we do not find any reason to suspend the sentence at this stage and all other grounds raised regarding contradictions are to be considered elaborately during the course of hearing of the criminal appeal. Accordingly, this criminal miscellaneous petition is dismissed.
