Heard the learned counsel appearing for the parties. 2.
The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition for the following relief, i) for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
representation/letter, dated 10.08.2015, to issue note file, pertaining to Memo No.14286/596/F.11 2014, dated 07.08.2014, and to furnish the copies to the petitioner according to Tamil Nadu Electricity Office Manuals Five days Rule.

On a perusal of the affidavit, filed in support of this Writ Petition and the documents filed in the form of typed-set of papers, it is seen that the petitioner has claimed for copies of certain documents to be furnished under the provisions of Right to Information Act, 2005. Therefore, if the petitioner is not satisfied with the information furnished by the Information Officer; even if there is insufficient information furnished according to him, or if the information is not furnished, then, the remedy has been provided under the said Act, and necessarily, the petitioner has to invoke the hierarchy of remedies available under the Act, for which purpose, this Writ Petition cannot be maintained. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed, leaving it open to the petitioner to work out his remedy under the provisions of the Right to Information Act. No costs.
