O R D E R

The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondent give permission to conduct Adal Padal programme on 18.08.2018 from 06.00 p.m. to 10 p.m. nearby Arulmigu Srivel Muthu Mariamman Temple, New M.G.R.Nagar, Kamarajar Salai, Manali, Chennai - 68 as part of the temple festival based on the petitioner's representation dated 25.07.2018.

2.It is the case of the petitioner that inspite of the representation being given to the respondent on 25.07.2018 for conducting cultural programme in the Temple on 18.08.2018 from 06.00 p.m. to 10 p.m. the respondent has not passed orders till today.

3.A Division Bench of this Court in W.P.(MD).No.3773 of 2017 by order dated 03.03.2017 in similar circumstances directed the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation and dispose of the same.

4.Following the order passed by the Division Bench, I direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 25.07.2018 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law on or before 12.08.2018. With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
