ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 praying to direct the respondent police to investigate the complaint by registering the FIR and to take suitable legal action based on the complaint of the petitioner, dated 21.02.2014 and to allow the above Crl.O.P.

2. Heard both sides.

3. It is averred in the petition that the petitioner gave a complaint to the respondent police, alleging that one Paneerselvam cheated the petitioner to the tune of Rs.2,60,000/- and no action has been taken by the police. Hence, the present Criminal Original Petition has been filed.

4. Learned Government Advocate submits that the complaint of the petitioner, dated 21.02.2014 has been transferred to T2 Ambattur Estate Police Station, on the point of jurisdiction. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5. On the aforesaid facts and circumstances, the Inspector of Police, T2 Ambattur Estate Police Station, Chennai, is directed to peruse the complaint of the petitioner, dated 21.02.2014 and if any cognizable offence is made out, further, directed to register the case and proceed further, as per law.

6. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
