This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to call for the proceedings in F.I.R. No.153 of 2020 on the file of the first respondent and quash the same.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that it is a case given by the second respondent against the petitioners as a counterblast for the earlier complaint given against the second respondent for demanding bribe for executing his public duties.

3. When the matter is taken up today, the learned Public Prosecutor (Puducherry) submitted that in this case investigation is over and charge sheet has been filed.

4. Since the charge sheet has already been filed, the matter has become infructuous. Hence the Criminal Orginal Petition is closed with the liberty to the petitioners to file a fresh Criminal Original Petition to quash the charge sheet, if he is so advised. Consequently, connected micellaneous petition is closed.
