The Criminal Original Petition has been filed to withdraw the case in STC No.1766 of 2014, on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.4, Salem and transfer the case to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Karur.

2.It is seen that almost four years have been lapsed and hence, due to the lapse of period, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted now, since numerous Presiding Officers were also changed to the concerned Court. 3.With the above observations, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as devoid of merits. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
