Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein the High Court will be pleased to extend the time for executing surety condition passed in Crl.MP.No.14481 of 2021 in Crl.OP.No.11842 of 2020 and pass such further or other orders as this Honble court may deem fit and proper in the above facts and circumstances of the case. Order: This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.S.SANTOSH, Advocate for the Petitioner and of MR. S.SANTHOSH, Govt. Advocate ( Crl. Side) on behalf of the Respondent the court made the following order:- This petition has been filed to extend the time granted by this Court in Crl.M.P.No.14481 of 2021 in Crl.O.P.No.11842 of 2020, dated 04.01.2022, for executing the sureties.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that since the petitioner was isolated with his mother, who was tested covid positive, he could not able to deposit the amount and furnish the sureties within the stipulated time. Hence, he prays to extend the time.

Heard the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent police.

Though the time has already been granted by this Court in Crl.M.P.No.14481 of 2021 by order dated 04.01.2022, considering the Covid-19 pandemic situation, the petitioner could not able to deposit the amount and furnish the sureties within the stipulated time, this petition is ordered and the time for depositing the amount and executing the sureties is extended finally by two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
