No.25 of 2020, confirming the order dated 02.01.2020 passed in M.P.No.349 of 2019 in R.C.O.P.No.385 of 2018 on the file of the learned XI Small Causes Judge at Chennai and thereby reopen the Rent Control Original Petition in R.C.O.P. No.385 of 2018 to the Rent Control Court to consider on facts and merits.

ORDER

The learned counsel appearing for the revision petitioner/tenant would submit that the keys for the property were handed over to the respondent/landlady on 15.04.2024.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the the landlady would submit that the keys have been received, but they are yet to open the building.

3. Be that as it may, this revision arises against the order passed under Section 11(3) of the Tamil Nadu Buildings (Lease and Rent Control) Act, 1960, and as confirmed by the Appellate Authority, the tenant/revision petitioner has handed over possession without forcing the landlady for execution. Since the possession had been taken over by the landlady, nothing remains to be adjudicated in this revision.
