O R D E R

This Writ Petition is filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents 2 and 3 to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner to enter into her matrimonial home, which is situated at 64/C, Janatha Nagar, Sivananthapuram, Coimbatore-614 035, based on the petitioner's representation dated 02.01.2025.

2. Since no adverse order has been passed against the private respondents 4 to 6, notice to them is dispensed with.

3. Heard Mr.A.M.Amutha Ganesh, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.S.Vinoth Kumar, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents 1 to 3.

4. This Court is of the view that the petitioner can very well file a petition before the Jurisdictional Magistrate under the provisions of the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005. If any such complaint is filed, the same shall be numbered immediately. It is open to

the petitioner herein to file petition under Section 12 of the DV Act as to get a residential order / protection order. If any such petition is filed by the petitioner, the same shall be disposed of by the Jurisdictional Magistrate concerned, within a period of three (3) weeks, thereafter.
