PARTHIBAN CRIMINAL MISCELLANEOUS PETITION No.894 of 2019 in CRL.RC.NO.1473/2018 L.KAMAL [ PETITIONER ] Vs MRS.R.ARCHANA [ RESPONDENT ] Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein the High Court will be pleased to extend the time to deposit Rs.Five lakhs by 15 days in Crl.MP.No.17290 of 2018 in Crl.R.C.No.1473 of 2018 dated 21.12.2018, C.C.No.202 of 2016 on the file of the learned Metropolitan Magistrate, Fast Track Court-IV, George Town, Chennai-1 as confirmed by the learned XVII, Additional City Civil Court, Chennai and pending disposal of the above Crl.RC.1473/2018. Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.M.S.

SOUNDARARAJAN, Advocate for the petitioner the court made the following order:- On an earlier occasion, this Court, while deciding the miscellaneous petition seeking suspension of sentence, had imposed conditions vide order dated 21.12.2018 and four weeks time has been granted for deposit of Rs.5,00,000/-.

According to learned counsel for the petitioner, since the order copy has not been made ready in time and also due to heavy loss in the business, the deposit of Rs.5,00,000/- could not be made in time and hence he seeks extension of time.

Considering the above submissions made on behalf of the petitioner, two weeks is granted for deposit of Rs.5,00,000/- from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
