O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner L.Gunasekar, who suffered a punishment, by order dated 27.05.2015, has preferred an appeal before the first respondent on 07.12.2015. As the same was not disposed of, the petitioner has come forward to this Court.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.Vijayakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice on behalf of the respondents.

3.Considering the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner to the effect that the appeal preferred by the petitioner has been received by the first respondent, this Court has no hesitation to issue direction to the first respondent. Therefore, the first respondent is directed to consider the pending appeal dated 07.12.2015 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
