ORDER
The petitioner, who is an accused in Crime No.23 of 2014 pending on the file of the 1st respondent, has filed this quash petition.
2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the 1st respondent submitted that the case in Crime No.24 of 2014 was transferred based on the order of Additional Director General of Police, Law and Order, Vigilance and AntiCorruption in R.C.124953/Crime/3/1/2015. On transfer to the Vigilance and Anti Corruption, Coimbatore registered a case in Crime No.9 of 2015. On completion of investigation, filed the charge sheet before the learned Special Judge for trial of Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988, Coimbatore, which is taken https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
on file as C.C.No.1 of 2019, wherein the petitioner/A1 and 6 others are accused, charged for offence under Sections 120-B, 167, 468, 471, 420, 201, 167 r/w 109, 201 r/w 511 of IPC and Section 13(2) read with Section 13(1)(d) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988.
3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor further submitted that the petitioner is appearing before the trial Court and the case is posted for next hearing on 20.03.2020 for furnishing of copies to the accused.
4.At this stage, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty to raise all the points before the trial Court. 5.In view of the above, nothing survives for adjudication. Hence, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Liberty is granted to the petitioner to raise all the points before the Court below during trial. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
