The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner's husband died due to electrocution and this Court by order dated 18.09.2025 in the aforementioned writ petition in WP.No.23360 of 2023 issued a direction to the respondents to disburse Rs.5,00,000/- towards exgratia to the petitioner. In all the records namely identity proof, the petitioner's name is appearing as R.Govindammal. However, as the petitioner used to be called as 'Kokila', she inadvertently mentioned her name as Kokila instead of Govindammal in the writ petition, thereby the present amendment petition has been filed.

The learned counsel appearing for the respondents, on instruction would submit that in all the Government records, the petitioner's name is appearing as Govindammal and her nick name is Kokila. Hence, the respondents do not dispute the petitioner's name. 3.

In view of the above, this writ miscellaneous petition is allowed and the Registry is directed to carry out necessary amendment in the cause title

and to issue a fresh order copy in WP.No.23360 of 2023 dated 18.09.2025 mentioning the petitioner's name as Govindammal. 04.02.2026 lok
