ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a Mandamus seeking for a direction to the respondent bank to grant educational loan to the petitioner pursuant to the application made by the petitioner in Application ID No. 807934 in Student ID No.1234159, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. Mr. B.Prasanna Vinoth, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.M.L.Sripathi, learned counsel for the respondent.

3. The learned counsel for the respondent on instructions would submit that if the petitioner submits a fresh application seeking for educational loan to the respondent bank and if he satisfies all the bank's requirements, the respondent will consider the petitioner's application on merits and pass final orders on the loan application, within a period of four weeks. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner on instructions would submit that the petitioner is agreeable to give a fresh representation subject to the condition that the respondent bank will consider the petitioner's application, within a period of four weeks.

5. After recording the rival submissions, this Court directs the petitioner to submit fresh application seeking for an educational loan to the extent of Rs.2,40,000/- with the respondent, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of the same, the respondent shall pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks thereafter. However, it is made clear that the petitioner will have to satisfy all the bank's requirements.

6. With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
