Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 4 to sanction incentive increment to the petitioner in the post of B.T.Assistant for acquiring M.A.(Tamil) degree with effect from 07.01.2012 and M.Phil. degree with effect from 18.01.2013, in accordance with the sanction order issued by the 4th respondent vide Proceedings in Na.Ka.No.1987/A2/2020 dated 11.09.2020 and subsequent proceedings in Mu.Mu.No. 2254/A2/2021 dated 07.01.2022, by accepting the Bill for the same, without reference to G.O.Ms.No.37, Personnel and Administrative Reforms(FR-IV) Department dated 10.03.2020 or any subsequent Government Orders, along with interest for delay in payment of incentive increment till date of payment in consideration of representation submitted by the petitioner dated 17.06.2022, 25.09.2023 and 03.10.2023, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed for direction directing the respondents 1 to 4 to sanction incentive increment to the petitioner in the post of B.T.Assistant for acquiring M.A.(Tamil) degree with effect from 07.01.2012 and M.Phil. degree with effect from 18.01.2013, in accordance with the sanction order issued by the 4th respondent vide Proceedings in Na.Ka.No.1987/A2/2020 dated 11.09.2020 and subsequent proceedings in Mu.Mu.No. 2254/A2/2021 dated 07.01.2022, by accepting the Bill for the
same, without reference to G.O.Ms.No.37, Personnel and Administrative Reforms(FR-IV) Department dated 10.03.2020 or any subsequent Government Orders, along with interest for delay in payment of incentive increment till date of payment in consideration of representation submitted by the petitioner dated 17.06.2022, 25.09.2023 and 03.10.2023, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

Without expressing any opinion on merits of the writ petition, the third respondent is directed to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 17.06.2022, 25.09.2023 and 03.10.2023 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
