Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Declaration, to declare that the restrictions of the petitioner's working departments into viz., 'A', 'B', 'C' with financial restrictions as 'C' category in all the three departments as against 8 departments, superseding by Notification Dated 30.10.2015 of Regulations, 2015 and subsequent amendment made as per Notification Dated 05.05.2017 and again a Circular made in Ref:IRDAI/SUR/CIR/MISC/042/02/2020 Dated 04.02.2020 and subsequent recent amendment Dated 24.11.2020 fixing arbitrary categorization pursuant to superseded 2000 Regulation despite relaxation of educational qualification and 1/4
consequently upholding the Petitioner's entitlement to obtain License and continued to carry on their profession as Surveyor and Loss Assessor in all the departments, viz: 'Fire', 'Marine Cargo', 'Marine Hull', 'Engineering', 'Motor', 'Miscellaneous', 'Crop Insurance', 'LOP' on the strength of original License issued by the then Controller of Insurance and also on the strength of Interim Order granted in W.P.No.43369/2002 and other batch of writ petitions and pass orders. When the writ petition is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the issue involved in the present writ petition is squarely covered by the decision of this Court dated 02.12.2021 in W.P.No.43369 of 2002 and batch wherein this Court did not find the submission of the petitioner therein with regard to the challenge to the amendment to IRDAI amendment Regulation, 2020, acceptable.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioners further submits that since, the issue stands settled by the aforesaid decision of this Court, nothing survives for consideration in the present writ petition.

3. The learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent does not dispute the aforesaid submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner.
4. In view of the aforesaid submission and the reasons alike as stated in the order dated 02.12.2021 in W.P.No.43369 of 2002 and batch, this Writ Petition is dismissed. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
