This Criminal Original Petition has been placed before this Court on the letter received from the Court below, seeking extension of time to complete the proceedings in C.C.No.174 of 2019 pending on the file of the Judicial Magistrate Court, Tittagudi, Cuddalore District.

2. It is seen from the records, while disposing the petition in Crl.O.P.No.1574 of 2021, this Court by an order dated 08.03.2021, directed the trial Court to complete the trial proceedings in C.C.No.174 of 2019, within a period of three months. However, the learned Judicial Magistrate, Tittagudi, has sent communication dated 25.08.2022 in D.No.1120 of 2022, narrating the sequence of proceedings in C.C.No.174 of 2019 and sought further time to complete the trial in the said case.
