ORDER

The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondents for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 85, 109(1) read with 3(5) of the BNS and Section 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act in Crime No.235 of 2024, on the file of the first respondent Police, seeks Interstate anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the marriage between the defacto complainant and one Dinesh Kumar was held on 12.06.2012 and thereafter, the defacto complainant's husband and the petitioners harassed her physically and mentally demandidng additional dowry and the defacto complainant had attempted to set her ablaze with an intention to kill her. Hence the case.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that a false complaint has been given against the petitioners and they have nothing to do with the said allegations. He further submitted that Inter State Anticipatory bail may be granted to the petitioners to enable them to move the appropriate jurisdictional Court for necessary relief. 4.Taking into consideration, the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to grant interstate interim anticipatory bail to the petitioners for a period of four weeks from today to enable them to move before the concerned jurisdictional Court.

5.Accordingly, interstate interim anticipatory bail is granted to the petitioners for a period of four weeks, on condition that the petitioners shall surrender before the learned VIII Metropolitan Magistrate, George Town, Chennai, within a period of

fifteen days from the date on which the order copy made ready and the petitioners shall execute a bond each for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the said learned Magistrate. Further, within two weeks from the date of execution of bail bond, the petitioner shall approach the competent Court and seek for appropriate relief.
