The petitioners filed this petition to quash the proceedings in C.C. No. 1566 of 2016 on the file of the IV Fast Track Court, (Magistrate Level) at George Town, Chennai.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that already the main in C.C.No.1566 of 2016 was dismissed for non prosecution by the trial Court by an order dated 15.11.2022. He also produced a copy of the order passed by the trial Court.
