This petition has been filed to quash the F.I.R., in Crime No.2157 of 2013 on the file of the respondent Police.

When the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submitted that the investigation in Crime No.2157 of 2013 has been completed and a charge sheet has also been laid before the learned Special Railway Metropolitan Magistrate, Allikulam, Chennai on 27.05.2016 and the same was taken into file in C.C.No.16030 of 2016.

3. In view of the subsequent development, nothing survives further in this petition. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous.

4. Since the matter is pending from the year 2013, the learned Special Railway Metropolitan Magistrate, Allikulam, Chennai is directed to dispose of the case in C.C.No.16030 of 2016, in accordance with law, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 23.01.2020 Issue order copy by 27.01.2020.
