The petitioner who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 06.01.2024 for the offences registered by the respondent Police under Sections 417, 376(2)(n), 313, 294(b) and 506(i) of IPC, in Crime No.20 of 2023, seeks bail.
2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner and the defacto complainant had a sexual relationship, due to which, she became pregnant. Later, the fetus had been aborted. Thereafter, the petitioner had rejected her. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner stated that it was a consensual relationship.
4. This had forced her to give a complaint against the petitioner and there is still no indication that the petitioner is prepared to accept her.
5. Let him them face trial. I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
