The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to measure the petitioner's property based on his representation dated 01.11.2016.
2.It is the case of the petitioner that inspite of his representation dated 01.11.2016, the respondent has not considered the same and passed orders.
3.Mr.R.S.Selvam, learned Government Advocate taking notice for the respondent submitted that the respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation and pass orders in accordance with law.
4.Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 01.11.2016 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
