Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a writ of certiorarified mandamus calling for the records of the respondents relating to the impugned orders Letter No.2047/Aea.Pa.1/2014-2 dated 25.02.2014 and letter No.39010/O.Na.Tha.Bi.4/Ma.Po.Ka./2014 dated 24.02.2014 passed by the Deputy Secretary to Government, Transport Department, Secretariat, Chennai 600 009 and Financial Adviser-cum-Chief Accounts Officer, Metropolitan Transport Corporation, Chennai, respectively and to quash it as arbitrary and ultra vires and consequently direct the respondents to sanction Government Family Pension with 18% interest for belated payment and pay cost.
