] The present Crl.M.P.No.2050 of 2024 in H.C.P.No.2498 of 2023 seeks a modification of the cost of Rs.50,000/- imposed in the earlier order of this Court dated 20.12.2023, payable to the petitioner's wife.

2. In the final orders, the coordinate bench has given its justification as to why the cost has to be imposed, and therefore, we do not intend to interfere with the imposition of the cost. However, Dr.S.Lingesh, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that during the period between 20.07.2021 to 28.02.2023, he had been spending a huge amount for medical treatment for his wife, amounting to Rs.3,00,353/- ( Rupees Three Lakhs Three Hundred and Fifty Three only). Further, he also submitted that the petitioner is a young junior lawyer who had enrolled only in the year 2016 and his income is not

sufficient enough to meet the cost.

3. Taking into consideration of the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner, we are of the view that the cost could be reduced to Rs.5,000/- payable to his wife.

4. Accordingly, the condition imposed on the petitioner is modified to the effect that the petitioner is directed to pay a sum of Rs.5000/- to his wife within a period of eight (8) weeks from today.

5. In view of the above, this Crl.M.P.No.2050 of 2024 stands closed. [M.S.R.,J.] [S.M.,J.] 08.02.2024 dk
