O R D E R

The petitioner was working as Conductor in the respondent Corporation. He was transferred from Madhavaram Bus Depot to Kundrathur Bus Depot on 07.05.2015. However, he reported to duty on 26.01.2016, citing medical reasons and thereafter no duty was allotted to him. Apprehending that he might be terminated from service, he raised an industrial dispute in I.D.No.69/2017 before the learned I Additional Labour court, Chennai. The respondent corporation filed counter affidavit stating that the petitioner was not terminated from service and on that ground the said industrial dispute was dismissed on 10.10.2018. However, subsequently the petitioner was not allotted any duty. Hence, on 21.11.2018, the petitioner sent a representation, requesting the respondent to allot him duty and the same was not considered. Therefore, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition seeking appropriate relief.

2. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without going into the merits of the matter, the respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 21.11.2018, on merits and in accordance with law, and pass orders after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner, within a period of six weeks from the date of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petition is disposed of in the above terms. No costs.
