Respondents Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to consider and pass order on the representation dated 28.03.2012 and 19.12.2017 made by the petitioner for restoration of seniority in the cadre of P.G.Assistant duly placing the name of the petitioner from the date on which his juniors were promoted giving notional promotion and confer all the consequential benefits.

ORDER

The petitioner seeks for issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the first respondent to consider and pass order on his representations dated 28.03.2012 and 19.12.2017 for restoration of seniority in the cadre of P.G.Assistant by duly placing the name of the petitioner from the date on which his juniors were promoted giving notional promotion and confer all the consequential benefits.

This Court, considering the limited prayer, without going into the merits of the matter, hereby directs the first respondent to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 28.3.2012 and 19.12.2017 on merit and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
