The petitioner is facing trial in S.C.No.108 of 2017 before the Mahila Court, Sessions level, Cuddalore. Evidence has been completed and the matter is posted for arguments. While so, this transfer petition has been filed alleging that the Presiding Officer made the accused to sit in the accused stand from 10.40 a.m. to 02.30 p.m. and proceeded with the other case. It is further alleged that the Presiding Officer told the counsel that the Advocate should do only their work and not other work.
2.Heard Mr.M.Devaraj, learned counsel for the petitioner who reiterated the contention.
3.In the opinion of this Court, the allegations on the face of it does not cut ice warranting transfer of a case, especially when it is posted for arguments. Hence, this petition is dismissed with a direction to the trial Court to proceed with https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
the case without in any manner being influenced by the allegations made in the transfer petition. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
