ORDER

When this matter is taken up for final hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that he had instructions to withdraw the criminal original petition. He has also made an endorsement to that effect. Permission is granted.

In the light of the above, this criminal original petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to the petitioner to raise all the defence available to him before the trial court. However, considering the fact that the calendar case has been pending from 2016, the trial court is directed to take the calendar case for trial and complete the same within a period of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

three months. Both parties are directed to cooperate with the trial court for the early disposal of the calendar case, preferably within the time frame as directed above. Consequently, connected MP stands closed.
