O R D E R

The first respondent registered a case in Crime No.376 of 2011 as against the petitioner on the complaint given by the second respondent. Pending investigation, the petitioner has filed the present petition to quash the complaint. 2.None appeared on behalf of the petitioner.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submitted that investigation in Crime No.376 of 2011 has already been completed and charge sheet has been laid. During investigation, it was found that the matter relates to land grabbing cases, therefore, the case was transferred to the competent Court dealing with https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

land grabbing cases and the same was taken on file in C.C.No.179 of 2019. He further submitted that the case is in progress and posted for trial on 13.02.2020.

A status report was also filed by the first respondent viz., The Inspector of Police, Ariyalur, stating that the investigation has been completed in the year 2011 itself and charge sheet has also been laid on 26.05.2011. before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Ariyalur, and the same was taken on file in C.C.No.179 of 2019. The case is pending for trial and the next hearing date is 13.02.2020.

5.In view of the subsequent developments, nothing further survives for adjudication in this petition. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed as infructuous. However, the petitioner is at liberty to raise all his defence before the trial Court. Connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
