A.Nos.288 & 289 of 2023 in A.Nos.5890 & 5892 of 2022 KRISHNAN RAMASAMY, J., A.No.288 of 2023 in A.No.5890 of 2022, has been filed seeking to amend the prayer of the Application No.5890 of 2022 as "it is therefore prayed that this Court may be pleased to extend the time for completion of Arbitral proceeding in Arbitration Case No.47 A and for passing of an award by the Sole Arbitrator Hon'ble Mr.Justice S.Rajeswaran (Retired) for a further period of 6 months from this day" instead of "it is therefore prayed that this Court may be pleased to extend the time for completion of Arbitral proceedings in Train No.12007 - 12006 MAS-MYS Shatabdi Express and for passing of an award by the Tribunal for a period of 6 months from this day". A.No.289 of 2023 in A.No.5892 of 2022, has been filed seeking to amend the prayer of the Application Nos.5892 of 2022 as "it is therefore prayed that this Court may be pleased to extend the time for completion of Arbitral proceeding in Arbitration Case No.47 and for 1/4

passing of an award by the Sole Arbitrator Hon'ble Mr.Justice S.Rajeswaran (Retired) for a further period of 6 months from this day" instead of "it is therefore prayed that this Court may be pleased to extend the time for completion of Arbitral proceedings in Train No.12617 - 12618 Ernakulam - Hazarat Nizamuddin Mangala Lakshwadeep Express and for passing of an award by the Tribunal for a period of 6 months from this day".

2.Learned counsel appearing for the applicant would submit that they have wrongly mentioned the Train Number instead of the arbitration proceedings number in the prayer part of the affidavit in A.Nos.5890 & 5892 of 2022. Therefore, he filed the present application to amend the prayer of the above said applications. 3.This Court satisfied with the submissions and averments made in the affidavit filed in support of the application and hence, inclined to allow the present application.

4.Accordingly, this application is allowed. Learned counsel appearing for the applicant is permitted to carryout the necessary amendment in the cause title.
