Mr.E.Balamurugan, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
2.The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the 3rd respondent to issue computer patta in respect of the property namely land and
building measuruing about 1073 sq.ft., with ground floor and first floor situated at S.No.24/2, No.146/2009 vide letter dated 29.10.2009, plot No.1-B, Brindavanam Nagar, Noompal Village, Ambattur & Maduravoyal Taluk, Thiruvallur District based on the petitioner's representation dated 17.07.2018. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has made an application for the issuance of patta as early as on 17.07.2018. However, the 3rd respondent has not passed any order so far.
4.Mr.E.Balamurugan, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the 3rd respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's application dated 17.07.2018 and pass orders in accordance with law within a time frame.
5.Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the Writ Petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 17.07.2018 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6.With these directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
