The petitioner has come forward with this petition under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure, seeking a direction to the second respondent police to register a case pertaining to the petitioner's complaint dated 22.03.2014.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner and the defacto complainant has arrived at an amicable settlement and the complaint was withdrawn by the defacto complainant.
