PRAYER: This criminal miscellaneous petition has been filed under Section 528 of BNSS to relax the condition (b). the petitioner shall appear before the respondent police every day at 06.30 p.m., for a period of two weeks and thereafter, every Saturday at 10.30 a.m., until further order, imposed by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.29006 of 2024 dated 20.11.2024 in Crime No.101 of 2024 pending on the file of the Special Court for POCSO Act, Chennai.

ORDER

This petition has been filed to relax the condition that the petitioner shall appear before the respondent police every day at 06.30 p.m. for a period of two weeks and thereafter every Saturday at 10.30 a.m. until further order, imposed by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.29006 of 2024 dated 20.11.2024 in Crime No.101 of 2024 pending on the file of the Special Court for POCSO Act, Chennai.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the respondent police would submit that the petitioner has been regularly complying with the condition imposed by this Court.

3. Considering the submissions of both sides and the nature of the offence, the condition imposed on the petitioner in Crl.O.P.No.29006 of 2024 on 20.11.2024 is totally relaxed. However, the petitioner shall appear before the respondent police as and when required for interrogation. 13.02.2025 dk Page No.2 of 3
