This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to file a final report in Crime No.3 of 2018. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent. 3.On the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the respondent Police have registered a case in Crime No.3 of 2018 on 14.01.2018 under Section 376, 294[b], 323 and 354 IPC r/w Section 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act and Section 4 of TNPHW Act. While so, the de facto complainant has filed the present petition with the above prayer.

4.Taking into consideration the nature of the allegations in the FIR, this Court cannot issue a direction to the respondent Police to complete the investigation within a time bound manner. However, the respondent Police is directed to complete the investigation in Crime No.3 of 2018 expeditiously and either file a Charge Sheet or a Closure Report as the case may be, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
