Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to Writ of Mandamus to direct the 1st respondent to grant and permit the petitioner to conduct the temple festival on the eve of Sri Mariamman Koil festival at Morambakkadu, Sivadhapuram Village, Salem 636 307 which is held to be from 02.02.2021 to 07.02.2021 based on the petitioner's representation dated 05.01.2021.

learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of 2nd and 3rd respondents. Though the 4th respondent is a private party, in light of order passed, I find no necessity to issue notice to him.

2. The petitioner prays for a Mandamus directing the first respondent to conduct the temple festival on the eve of Sri Mariamman Koil festival at Morambakkadu, Sivadhapuram Village, Salem 636 307 to be held between 02.02.2021 and 07.02.2021 based on his representation dated 05.01.2021.

3. Mr.Venkatesh, on instructions, confirms that the festival has been held as proposed between 02.02.2021 and 07.02.2021.

4. As such, nothing survives in this writ petition and the same is closed as infructuous. No costs.
