Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to grant a house patta to the petitioner's house in Door No.4/216-8 measuring 21⁄2 cents comprised in S.F.No.386/2Pc, Harijan Natham, Malaipalayam Village, Sulur Taluk, Coimbatore District by considering petitioner's representation dated 31.12.2020.

ORDER

The petitioner seeks assignment of about 2.5 cents in S.F.No.386/2Pc of Malaipalayam Village, Sulur Taluk, Coimbatore District. For this purpose, he has approached the second respondent Vide his representation dated 31.12.2020. 2.Mr.S.N.Parthasarathi, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents and made a statement on instructions that an enquiry is scheduled to take place on 19.02.2021 at 11.00 a.m. at the office of the second respondent.

3.The said statement of the learned Government Advocate is recorded.

4.In view of the above, no further direction is required to be given except that the second respondent is directed to issue notice to all the parties who are likely to be affected by his decision, provide them a fair and effective hearing and to dispose of the matter through a speaking order within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
